An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and customer-focused School Operations Officer to join the School of Business, Education and Law to help ensure the smooth running of the School's complex and varied business, including governance and the provision of a high-quality and responsive administrative support service.
This is a fast-paced and varied role requiring confidentiality, diplomacy and an ability to proactively lead projects and solve complex problems. An ability to liaise with individuals across all levels of the University and external partners is essential, as is the ability to forge excellent working relationships with the School’s Senior Leadership Team and colleagues across the School.
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, you will be a confident self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and an ability to prioritise and undertake a busy and varied workload, ensuring that tasks are executed effectively and to the highest of standards.
Applicants will be able to satisfy all essential criteria detailed in the person specification.
We offer an excellent employment package, including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all. Find out more about our approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including our commitments and accreditations as a Disability Confident Employer, Stonewall Gold Award holder and Top 100 Employer, Athena SWAN Bronze Award holder and Race Equality Charter Bronze Award holder.
