We are seeking an exceptional Director of International Engagement to drive our global strategy and enhance the University’s international reach and reputation.
As a senior leader in our Marketing & External Relations Directorate, you will shape and lead the development, delivery, and continuous refinement of the University’s international strategy, ensuring it reflects institutional priorities, anticipates global trends, and drives long-term impact. You will provide authoritative direction on internationalisation policy, positioning the University as a forward-looking, globally connected institution. In this high-profile role, reporting directly to the Executive Director of Marketing & External Relations, you will influence decisions at the highest levels of the University and provide inspirational leadership to our international partnerships and global mobility teams.
Role Requirements:
You will bring a strong track record of leading international strategy in a higher education setting, with significant experience in building successful international partnerships, managing global risk, and working across cultures. You will have the agility to work within a complex environment, influence at the highest levels, and deliver tangible outcomes that enhance institutional impact.
This is a flexible role with a hybrid working pattern. While international travel is a core part of the role, you will also be expected to work across all our campuses as needed to support university-wide engagement. Your weekly working pattern can be shaped in line with business needs and your personal circumstances, combining on-site presence with remote working.
