About the role
The position of Lecturer in Psychology is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to Te Kura Whatu Oho Mauri, The School of Psychological and Social Sciences.
We are looking for a stellar individual who will bring professional and academic experience to facilitate our portfolio of research, teaching, and postgraduate supervision in the areas of developmental psychology, perception, and cognitive neuroscience.
Salary will be in the range of $90,125 to $107,452 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Who are you?
You will have PhD in a relevant discipline with broad and in-depth knowledge of discipline areas that are relevant to the fields of either developmental psychology, perception, or cognitive neuroscience. The ideal candidate will have skills in more than one of these three subfields of psychology.

Who are we?
Te Kura Whatu Oho Mauri has lab based facilities on site including an EEG suite, a virtual reality system, eye tracking facilities, and a fully equipped driving simulator. We have existing links with local hospitals and external agencies for an array of research activities including fMRI work, concussion research, and ultrasound and fetal research.
