The Department of Psychological Sciences and Health is looking to recruit a part-time Knowledge Exchange Assistant to work on a project funded by an internal award. The overall aim of the project is to develop a cost-effective training model to improve access to in-person Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for people living with insomnia disorder.
FTE: 0.6 (21 hours/week)

The Department of Psychological Sciences and Health is looking to recruit a part-time Knowledge Exchange Assistant (at Grade 6) to work on a project funded by a University of Strathclyde Stephen Young Award. The overall aim of the project is to develop a cost-effective training model to improve access to in-person Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for people living with insomnia disorder. As the KE Assistant, you will support the integration of CBT protocols across a range of healthcare settings, supported by colleagues from the Strathclyde Sleep Centre and a Commercial Champion. You will also be expected to contribute more generally to the Strathclyde Sleep Centre’s Knowledge Exchange agenda.
To be considered for the role, you must hold an undergraduate degree in psychology and hold (or be close to completing) a master’s degree in psychology or other relevant discipline. You will have knowledge and experience of undertaking independent or supervised knowledge exchange and/or research work in psychology, you will be able to plan and prioritise your own workload, and you will be able to work within a team environment. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to listen and engage with a range of different professional / community groups and to present complex information in an accessible way to a range of audiences.
