At Birmingham Newman University we are expanding our Nursing and Allied Health provision. We embrace student centred education where clinical skills, simulation and practical teaching is integral to our students education within the School of Nursing & Allied Health (SoNAH). Working across regional and local health economies we aim to prepare high quality healthcare students, who are equipped with the clinical and practical skills required for tomorrows health and social care workforce. Do you have experience in managing a team, setting up specialist activities or providing technical support in an academic setting? If so, we would like to hear from you about an exciting opportunity to join the SoNAH as a Senior Clinical Skills Technician.
Working alongside technical colleagues, academic staff, visiting health professionals, faculty and industry partners, the Senior Clinical skills Technician supports the delivery of high-quality simulation-based education and clinical skills services within the Clinical Skills and Simulation Facilities at Birmingham Newman University.
The post is an integral role within the SoNAH team and is essentially one of the lead points of contact for the planning, development and delivery of specialist activity. This involves responsibilities such as:
