About the role
The Department of Economics at the University of Bath is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Economics.

This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) basis until July 2026.
About us
We offer undergraduate degrees in Economics, Economics and Politics, and Economics and Mathematics, as well as postgraduate degrees in Economics, Economics & Finance, and Applied Economics.
We also offer an Online MSc Programme in Applied Economics (Banking and Financial Markets). You will take part in the planning and delivery of the Department's teaching programmes, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
In addition to being research-led and incorporating latest developments in the discipline; our programmes put great emphasis on the employability of our students, as exemplified by our successful placement schemes at the UG level and consultancy projects at the PGT stage.
You will play a key role in these processes in terms of providing supervision, tutoring and other forms of support.
The Department of Economics at the University of Bath promotes a vibrant research environment through our dynamic research groups.
Following a recent restructuring exercise, research is organised through five main groups: (I) Macro, Money, and Finance ((II) Microeconomic Theory, (III) Public and Political Economy and (IV) Applied Economics: Labour, Education and Health (V) Sustainable Development. Additionally, there are research clusters in three areas: Banking and Finance; Economics of Digitalisation and Innovation; Experimental Economics.
