Are you an experienced communications professional looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? We’re seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join our Loughborough team to help us drive forward communications and engagement with our staff and students.
As part of the Marketing and Advancement team, you’ll manage the Internal Communications team to deliver communications and projects aligned with the University’s strategic priorities. Educated to degree level or equivalent, with experience in a communications or PR role, you’ll have exceptional copywriting and editing skills. You’ll have a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and be able to deliver compelling content for use across multiple channels.
You’ll be confident and comfortable in engaging with people across the whole University and able to build and nurture strong relationships. Highly motivated and organised, you’ll have strong project management and planning skills and feel comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

This is a maternity cover role available for 12 months (or the earlier return of the postholder) from 25th October 2025.
