The frontier-research to be carried out by the project encompasses the mathematical and simulation-based performance evaluation as well as the design of radically new next next-generation wireless systems relying on sophisticated new arrangements, with special emphasis on the communications theory and multi-component Pareto-optimization of space-air-ground integrated networks. Hence having a strong theoretical background in their mathematical analysis is absolutely essential. Furthermore, you will have excellent software skills in programming and a proven publication track-record. To be successful you will hold a PhD in a related subject or nearing the completion of your PhD.
This role is full time, fixed term for 22 months

Applications for Research Fellow positions will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
