Are you an environmental geographer who is enthusiastic to share your knowledge about sustainability and climate change? We are seeking a Lecturer in Environmental Geography to play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual future of our students.
Based within the School of Social Sciences, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a bold and ambitious Geography subject group, situated at Birkbeck, University of London.
As Lecturer in Environmental Geography, you will be teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses – with a particular focus on environmental science, environmental management, environmental policy and physical geography modules and field teaching in the BSc Environment and Sustainability, BSc Geography, MSc Environment and Sustainability and MSc Climate Change.
You will also contribute to shaping our exciting new curriculum and our vibrant research culture and environment, which includes the Birkbeck Research Centre for Environment and Sustainability.

Remuneration
£43,636 rising to £60,018 per annum. The salary is Grade LLEC on the College's London pay scale which includes a consolidated weighting / allowance, which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the Greater London area.
