Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint a Senior Chef de Partie.
About the role
The role is to assist the Head Chef in providing a consistently high standard of quality food for customers.
This is a full-time permanent position, working 36.5 hours per week, five out of seven days (mostly straight shifts).
About you
You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and fine dining for events and private bookings. To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a Chef role within the hospitality industry, with knowledge of food preparation in all areas and ability to oversee food preparation in a diverse catering operation. You will also have good communication skills (both written and verbal), IT literacy skills (including MS Excel and Word), flexibility and adaptability in your approach to work, and an awareness of health and safety standards and requirements.
