Business Development Officer (Maternity Cover) RAI140A

CPD and Event Services is part of Research and Innovation and is the central focus for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) at the University of Aberdeen.

We support academic and other colleagues in the provision of professional development courses, conferences and other related activities aimed at an external audience. Expertise includes Professional Conference Organising (PCO) Services; financial planning; course and event development and delivery; event management and the provision of advice. We currently work with colleagues from the University of Aberdeen, other HEIs and external organisations.

We are currently looking for Business Development Officer to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover period of maternity leave.

The post holder will be directly responsible for developing the University of Aberdeen’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) business, with the aim of increasing institutional CPD income.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6, £38,249 - £45,413 per annum, pro rata and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
