The University of Roehampton is recruiting a Procurement Officer to join a newly established procurement team. Acting as the first point of contact for procurement enquiries and support, supporting procurement activity and operating BAU procurement and framework call-offs.
Key responsibilities include working in a hands-on capacity to support the delivery of procurement, commercial contract management and supplier performance management activity, support the delivery of savings and commercial procurement initiatives, analyse non-pay spend and contractual spend activities and liaise with stakeholders to provide a proactive customer service, improve and resolve issues and processes.
The successful candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills, with experience working within a commercial and/or procurement environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential, along with experience retrieving, analysing and presenting data.
