We are seeking to appoint a Sprint Coordinator to support the work of The Agile Initiative at the Oxford Martin School.

The Agile Initiative has been established to deliver excellent, policy-relevant, interdisciplinary research to contribute to evidence-based policymaking on environmental issues. Building on the Oxford Martin School's mission, it convenes University of Oxford researchers, partners and other stakeholders in ‘Sprint’ projects to address time-critical questions of key socioeconomic and environmental importance for policy makers. Taking a whole-systems approach, Agile aspires to create a sea change in how science and evidence can feed-in to policy on an impactful timescale.

This post will provide the vital connectivity across ‘Sprint’ projects at different stages of their life-cycle, supporting multiple Sprint teams, the Management group and Executive Board and being responsible for administrative and operational processes that underpin the success of the programme.

The successful candidate will have a calm approach to working under pressure and managing competing priorities. As part of a small and dynamic team, a pro-active and adaptive attitude is essential along with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people.

The role is a full-time, fixed term until January 2027.

The Oxford Martin School supports the University’s commitment in fostering an inclusive culture which promotes equality and values diversity. We are eager to receive applications from a diverse pool of candidates.

You will be required to upload your CV and a supporting statement as part of your online application. Your supporting statement should address each of the essential and desirable selection criteria, as listed in the job description, and explain how you meet each one. Both documents must be submitted to be considered.

Only applications received before 12.00 noon (BST) on Wednesday 23rd July can be considered. Interviews will take place on 4th August 2025.
