Deputy Head of Student Services (Disability & Wellbeing)

We’re seeking a Deputy Head of Student Services to lead our Disability, Mental Health, and Counselling services. Based in London with some travel, the role involves managing specialist teams, ensuring compliance, and enhancing student support systems.

The Deputy Head of Student Services will have operational leadership and management of AD Education Uk’s (ADE) Disability, Mental Health and Counselling specialist services offered in support to students at ADE UK. This includes the oversight of the Disability Advisers, Mental Health Advisers and Specialist Mentor and the potential to positively influence the student and staff experience. This role will be responsible the day to day running of the services ensuring resourcing, training and compliance to regulatory frameworks working alongside the Head of Student Services aligning with the wider department, strategic priorities, and the Strategy plan.

The post holder is accountable for all clinical decisions made within their and their team’s scope of professional practice and is therefore required to apply a high level of clinical knowledge to the role.

A key focus of this role will be continuous development of our systems and processes that underpin each of the services to ensure we can offer effective and efficient services that allows for positive student engagement and enhanced reporting for management and audit purposes. The post-holder will help develop our services for the future, support the embedding of policy and system changes while interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders.
