The School of Business and Law is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Law. You will be responsible for teaching on the foundational law modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels so specialisms in one or more of these discipline areas are essential. Experience of teaching Equity, Criminal Law, Criminal Litigation and Public Law would be advantageous. You would be expected to develop and deliver excellent teaching and be able to supervise student research at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
This is a teaching post at Senior Lecturer level, you would be expected to participate in departmental level leadership roles such as module or course leadership, curriculum development, marketing and outreach leadership. The successful candidate will also contribute to the School’s TNE delivery and development.
This is an exciting time to be joining the School. In the most recent Research Excellence Framework the School was ranked in the top 50 for its unit of submission for law. In the most recent national student satisfaction survey, the Law subject area achieved an overall satisfaction score of 90% which was significantly higher than the sector.
