Role
The Head of Student Records Management is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of student record data and process, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of institutional data. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and delivering efficient student records processes that support institutional objectives, enhance the student experience, and align with regulatory requirements.
Person
You are an accomplished higher education professional with extensive experience in student and academic administration, operational management and strategic leadership. Holding a first degree or equivalent professional qualification, you bring a strong foundation in data governance, regulatory compliance, policy development and institutional operations.
With significant management-level experience in the Further or Higher Education sectors, you have successfully developed and applied policies, procedures, and regulations to enhance institutional effectiveness. Your expertise in operational student record management and data quality, including proficiency in SITS or similar student records systems, ensures streamlined data governance and regulatory compliance.
You have a strong track record of successfully managing large-scale operations, improving processes and procedures to enhance the staff and student experience. Through the design, development, and implementation of core business systems and processes, you have driven operational efficiencies and institutional growth. Your strategic mindset, coupled with hands-on expertise, positions you as a key contributor to advancing organisational excellence within the education sector.
