Are you a proactive and enthusiastic AV/IT Technician with great people skills? We are seeking a customer focussed AV/IT technician to join our fantastic team at the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences (INI). The work of our IT team underpins the broad range of activities hosted by the Institute. Reporting to the IT Manager, as a valued member of this team you will provide AV support for the seminars and workshops that are hosted as part of the programmes of research at the Institute and undertake a wide range of first line support duties alongside the day-to-day activities of the Institute, including problem solving of routine technical issues. As an INI AV/IT Technician, you will need to respond to the needs of both staff and visitors, working flexibly to find solutions, as the business of the Institute is driven by a range of AV/IT systems.

The majority of INI activities are based in the Isaac Newton Institute and Centre for Mathematical Sciences in Cambridge, however, you may occasionally be required to provide remote support for events hosted in other locations.
Salary
In addition to the base salary stated above, the successful candidate for this post will receive an additional 2.5% supplement to their pay.
