We seek to appoint a new Director of Development and Alumni Relations to lead our advancement agenda which embraces philanthropic fundraising, campaign strategy, alumni engagement and volunteering; closely aligned to institutional strategy and priorities. Development and Alumni Relations plays a key role in the delivery of the University’s global top 50 ambition, collaborating with senior colleagues to engage and motivate alumni and supporters to enhance our reputation, influence and impact. This includes harnessing the social and professional capital of alumni to support international student recruitment, the student experience, student employability and graduate outcomes.
Are you a strategic development leader with the expertise and creativity to advance philanthropy and supporter relationships at the University of Birmingham? We are looking for an exceptional Director of Development and Alumni Relations with a successful track record of delivery, experience of leading large and diverse teams, and working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders from different disciplines and sectors. You will work closely with our Vice-Chancellor, alumni, academic and wider communities to enhance our engagement with supporters, partners and donors.
