About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Project Coordinator to join the Wastewater Surveillance for Pandemic Prevention (WaSPP) consortium, based within the Vaccine Epidemiology Research Group (VERG). This initiative is at the forefront of global health efforts to develop scalable, cost-effective tools for early detection and prevention of future pandemics. Funded by the Gates Foundation and the Institute of Philanthropy, WaSPP aims to develop and implement wastewater surveillance techniques for detecting spillover infections and human transmission of viruses with pandemic potential. The consortium also focuses on capacity-building, methodological development, and software innovation, in collaboration with a network of global partners.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to global health research with a real world impact and this post will suit a candidate with excellent organisational and communication skills.
What you would be doing
You will provide essential operational and logistical support to ensure the smooth functioning of consortium activities, working closely with the Senior Project Manager, VERG leadership, and international partners across Asia and Africa.
