We have an exciting opportunity for an International Collaboration Specialist to join the Nuffield Department of Medicine (NDM) in a newly established role focused on managing the evolving risks associated with international research partnerships. This position responds to growing complexity and external scrutiny from governments and funders, and plays a key role in ensuring the integrity and security of our collaborative research activities.
In this role, you will work closely with researchers, doctoral supervisors, the University’s Trusted Research Office, and professional services colleagues across NDM. Your focus will be to identify, assess, and mitigate a wide range of reputational, regulatory, operational, and security-related risks linked to international collaboration.
To succeed in this role, you will hold a degree or possess equivalent professional experience. You will bring strong intellectual and analytical abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to interpret complex information and provide clear, pragmatic advice. The role requires sound judgment, tact, and discretion in handling sensitive matters, as well as a proven ability to manage a diverse and high-volume workload while delivering accurate and consistent support to stakeholders.
