Birkbeck, University of London, has an excellent opportunity for an Associate Tutor to join Birkbeck's Law School and support the team this coming academic year 2025/26.
As Associate Tutor you will teach across the seven foundational law subjects, and, in particular, support the module:

As Associate Tutor, you will have the relevant specialist legal knowledge to teach on the above law module(s). You will be qualified with an LLM (or related postgraduate degree) with either an LLB (or similar qualification that covers the 7 foundations of legal knowledge,) or equivalent professional experience.

Contract

Remuneration
Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £59.91 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked.
This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 6 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier’ at 2.5, which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
