About us

The Advancement Office is responsible for building long-term, impactful relationships with the University’s alumni, friends and supporters. We support a network of over 150,000 University of Bath alumni across 170 countries, as well as our wider community of supporters who generously give their time, expertise, and philanthropy to the University.

Philanthropy is one of the main aspects of our work and donations are vital. They transform students’ lives through removing barriers to education, and advance important research in areas such as sustainability, health, and wellbeing, and digital. We are pleased that 100% of every donation goes to the people and projects for which it is intended. Beyond Philanthropy, we have an active programme of activity to engage our community of alumni and supporters, helping keep them informed of the latest University news and events, providing unique benefits and services, and connecting business contacts or reuniting classmates.

We aim to be collaborative, ambitious, inspirational, agile, and respectful as we support delivery of the University strategy, and we encourage all team members to embed these values in their day-to-day work. And joining our team means stepping into an environment where learning and development are at the forefront.
