About the department
ResLifeBU is a student led programme of activities and services focusing on the enablement and development of inclusive and self-supporting student communities within BU’s student accommodation. As part of BU Estates team we are a multi disciplinary department that create inspirational and sustainable environments in which living within one of our halls of residence can help students thrive.
ResLifeBU has three core aims of providing: inclusive events and activities that assist with the process of social integration; wellbeing information and guidance to assist with the ups and downs of transitioning into university life; and support with the development of the skills required for independent living.
The role of ‘Events and Activities Coordinator’ is an exciting opportunity to join the ResLifeBU team and support the core day-to-day operations, primarily delivering a comprehensive calendar of activities and events across the student halls of residence. Working closely with our accommodation teams, you will be getting involved in all areas of the programme with the planning, promotion and running of events, procurement or resources and management of finances as well as providing administrative support.
This position is available on a fixed-term basis for a period of 12 months.
