This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified animal technologist looking to progress into facility leadership. The role offers full exposure to the operational and regulatory aspects of running a licensed aquatic facility. You will lead day-to-day operations, support researchers, and act as HOLC, NACWO, NTCO, and NIO. You must be MIAT/Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) and have experience liaising with the Home Office and Named Persons under ASPA. This post is ideal for someone eager to build a career in animal facility management. You will benefit from structured CPD and mentoring while working alongside senior compliance and infrastructure leads. There is significant scope to deepen your understanding of cost recovery, the 3Rs, and cross-institutional policy development.
