About the Role
We employ Portfolio, Programme and Project Management best practice principles using the industry standard MoP, PRINCE2 and MSP methodologies; however, this is a pragmatic implementation which is constantly evolving, continually improving processes and related documents to ensure relevance to the University.
Working closely with the Head of PMO, the post holder will be responsible for the collection of key project metrics (financial and qualitative) for all strategic projects and use this information, along with regular project audits, to assure and report project health to the Director of Strategy Delivery and other senior key stakeholders.
About you
This role will also be required to assist, guide and mentor SDO programme/project managers by providing subject matter expertise regarding risk management, issue and change management, benefits management, dependency management, financial tracking, planning, reporting and governance as required.
Proven PMO analyst experience is essential, and experience in a non-HE sector will be considered.
About the Department
The Strategy Delivery Office is a new team and is the primary central source of strategic project documentation and processes; providing advice and guidance on the practice of programme and project management and execution to ensure a consistent standard across different business practices.
