Applications are invited for a BBSRC sLoLa funded Post-Doctoral Research Associate position in the area of synthetic chemistry and chemical biology to work in the group of Prof. Nick Tomkinson at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

The project will focus on the development of chemical tools to interrogate and dissect the biochemical process of S-acylation, which involves the addition and removal of fatty acid chains to proteins, affecting their function and location within cells. You will be part of a broader team of >20 researchers undertaking an integrated analysis of S-acylation dynamics and its importance in cell physiology (https://www.ukri.org/news/bbsrc-injects-20-million-into-long-term-discovery-research/).
