An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an existing team as a Research Support Administrator to support the high-quality administration of RVCs growing portfolio of externally funded research grants. This person will work as part of a small team of research support professionals that manages funding from a wide variety of sources including UK Research Councils, the European Commission, industry, government bodies and charities.
As Research Support Administrator, you will assist the Head of Research Grants Management and other members of the Research and Innovation Office team to ensure the sound financial management of awards. This will include tasks such as setting up of project codes for new awards; completing the compilation of financial expenditure statements for funding bodies; and providing advice to academic staff on various issues relating to grants.
