Offshore Energies UK is the leading representative body for the UK offshore energy industry, a not-for-profit membership organisation with a history stretching back five decades. Our membership includes over 400 organisations with an interest in offshore energy with our focus on oil, gas, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen, and wind. From operators to the supply chain and across the lifecycle from production to decommissioning, they are safely providing cleaner fuel, power, and products to the UK.
Working together with our members, we are a driving force supporting the UK in ensuring security of energy supply while helping to meet its net zero ambitions. We work on behalf of the sector and our members to inform understanding with facts, evidence, and data, engage on a range of key issues and support the broader value of this industry in a changing energy landscape.
As a KTP Associate, you have a unique opportunity to work with the academic team at the Fraser of Allander Institute and the team at OEUK to develop the tools to tackle some of the main economic questions facing the sector. The position includes £2000 per year to spend on personal training. You will be responsible for driving this project, delivering positive change in the sector and potentially having a huge impact.
You will receive dedicated coaching, mentoring and personal development, as you manage your own personal training budget. You can choose a variety of training modules during your KTP: project management, marketing and communication, finance, leadership and/or personal development, as well as job-specific technical training.
The project is part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme that aims to help businesses to innovate and grow by working with UK universities.
