About us:
King’s College London are seeking to appoint several Senior Education Support Officer posts which will support one or more of our faculties with a range of education support processes, as well as supporting the delivery of the Student Futures programme.
This post will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Student Futures initiatives and new ways of working as well as supporting the day-to-day administration of programme and quality-related processes within the faculty which may include supporting programme delivery, programme change and development work, and assuring data quality. The post holder will work with key stakeholders both within designated faculties and across the College to ensure project milestones and core processes are delivered both timely and effectively, and in accordance with both Faculty and University priorities, requirements and policies.
About the role:
In this role, you will support data validation exercises and review a variety of datasets, taking appropriate action where necessary. You will contribute to assessment-related activities, including both day-to-day operational tasks and strategic project work. A key part of the role involves gathering and organising both quantitative and qualitative data to support a range of activities, projects, communications, and reports.
You will coordinate the management of day-to-day stakeholder enquiries, ensuring timely responses within agreed timeframes, and taking responsibility for handling more complex queries directly, escalating them to your line manager when needed. You will also support the development and implementation of a University-wide attendance and engagement monitoring tool and participate in relevant training and workshops to ensure the effective operation of new systems and processes.
Further responsibilities include: supporting faculty-level meetings and committees by organising meetings, drafting agendas, writing minutes, and tracking actions. You will assist with quality assurance processes, including annual monitoring, periodic programme reviews, and various data reporting functions. It is essential to maintain up-to-date knowledge of programme administration and quality assurance procedures, working independently to meet annual, termly, or monthly deadlines.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a 12-month fixed term contract.
