As we prepare to deliver on exciting new programmes and actively explore new programme ideas, we are looking for dynamic, passionate and talented individuals to join our team. We are recruiting a Senior Lecturer in Strategy and Operations Management.
The Strategy and Operations Management (SOM) cluster covers International Business, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Information Management and Innovation and Enterprise. The post holder will join a vibrant and growing team of academics who are engaged in a broad range of scholarly activities and research promoting UWE’s Strategy 2030.
Bristol Business School comprises six subject clusters. Accounting and Finance; Economics; Human Resource Management; Marketing, Events and Tourism; Organisation Studies; Strategy and Operations Management. This post sits within the Strategy and Operations Management cluster.

About you:
We are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to excellence in teaching and practice to join Bristol Business School. The nature of our programmes means that candidates should be confident and comfortable working as part of a teaching team on large and sometimes interdisciplinary modules, as well as independently on smaller specialist modules.
To succeed in this role, you will require a sufficient depth and currency of specialist knowledge in your discipline, ideally with the ability to contribute to other related subject areas within the School, demonstrate a commitment to teaching with the ability to engage and inspire students within a variety of academic settings, and be able to design innovative teaching materials using a technology enhanced approach.
The focus of the post is to deliver outstanding learning outcomes for our students through exceptional teaching and learning on academic programmes within the School, as well as engaging in knowledge exchange, impactful research and other activities that enhance and inform teaching delivery, design and curriculum development.
Where is this role based?
This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.
