We are currently looking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Computing to join our team at the University of Stirling International Study Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who thrives on helping international students achieve their academic goals and succeed in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching modules across our academic programmes, including International Foundation, International Year One, and Pre-Master’s, with a particular focus on Java and Python programming, as well as Data Science. Working closely with colleagues, you will play a vital role in ensuring students are fully prepared for university-level study, by delivering engaging, intellectually stimulating sessions and providing tailored support to meet a diverse range of learner needs.
We are seeking someone who brings not only subject expertise but also an understanding of the needs of international students and a dedication to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment. You will be involved in all aspects of the teaching cycle, including planning, delivery, assessment, and feedback, as well as contributing to student inductions and ongoing pastoral support.
About You:
You will have a Master’s degree in Computing or a closely related field, with demonstrable expertise in programming (Java and Python) and Data Science.
