Join Us as Research Communications Manager – Driving Impact Through Storytelling and Strategy
We’re looking for a Research Communications Manager to help shape and share the ground breaking work of the LifeArc Centre for Rare Respiratory Diseases and our Pandemic Science Hub (PSH) based in the Institute for Regeneration and Repair. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in initiatives that are transforming the future of respiratory health and delivering real-world benefits for patients.
You’ll lead on creating and delivering dynamic, innovative communications that amplify scientific discovery and connect meaningfully with researchers, funders, partners, patients, patient organisations, and the wider public. From designing compelling campaigns to managing in-person and online engagement, your work will grow our brand and elevate our profile and inspire action across the UK and beyond.
We’re seeking a motivated communicator who thrives in complex, collaborative environments. You’ll be equally at home translating science for public audiences as you are working alongside academics and patient groups. With a proven track record in strategic communications, digital media, and stakeholder engagement, you’ll bring creativity, precision, and people skills to everything you do.
What you'll do:
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
This is a fixed-term position and available from 31st August 2025 to 31st August 2027 with possibility of extension to August 2029.
