The School of Law seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Common Law (Private Law) (Research & Teaching Track) at Grade 7.
The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, organisation and delivery of teaching on undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses within the subject area of Private Law (Common Law) in accordance with the subject’s priorities including accepting responsibilities as course co-ordinator for one or more courses.

Law was one of the four original faculties established by the University upon its founding in 1451. The subject has been taught continuously since 1714. Today, we teach students from over 30 countries with a staff from across the world.
We welcome applications for this post from applicants with sufficient breadth and/or depth of knowledge in Common Law (particularly relating to Land Law) to teach at introductory and advanced undergraduate levels on the Common Law LLB programme.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and open-ended.
