A Research Assistant is sought for an initial 12-months post in the laboratory of Dr Rebekah Tillotson, to support work investigating rare genetic disorders associated with chromatin-associated proteins.
The candidate will be detail-oriented, motivated to learn and master new techniques, and effective in managing their own time and workload in order to meet project deadlines.
The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to join a team of scientists investigating a rare genetic disorder called ATR-X syndrome. You will be involved in projects to understand the biological processes that underlie this disorder and investigate treatment options. We will encourage the development of your research portfolio through involvement in all aspects of the life of the laboratory. You will work in a collaborative environment and benefit from excellent core facilities.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
