The structural composites research group at WMG’s Automotive Composites Research Centre (ACRC) are looking for a talented and highly motivated support engineer to assist with the delivery of high-volume structural composite manufacturing solutions in close partnership with selected industry partners.

About You
The successful candidate will contribute to the CLAD HVM-Catapult project to develop applications for the composite material compounding line located in the Materials Engineering Centre (MEC).
The successful candidate will need to have completed an Engineering Apprenticeship, HNC/ONC in Engineering or similar qualification, and have relevant experience in running industrial scale automated composite manufacturing equipment and material compounding equipment. They will also have a high level of health and safety awareness, to enable them to guide and supervise safe practice.
