We are a world class research-intensive university. We deliver teaching and learning of the highest quality. We play a leading role in economic, social and cultural development of the North East of England. Attracting and retaining high-calibre people is fundamental to our continued success.
The Role
We seek to appoint a Lecturer in Marketing (Teaching and Scholarship) into our Marketing Subject Group. We are seeking passionate scholars in the marketing field. Your passion will come across in your teaching and support for the student experience at all levels as well as in your commitment to engaging with communities beyond the University. You will contribute to teaching and assessment across a range of UG and PG modules in the broad marketing field, as well as undertaking dissertation supervision. For this T&S role, you must have a PhD in a relevant subject (or a PhD near completion - i.e. strictly within three months of submission), and a strong scholarly profile or trajectory. You must also be able to demonstrate teaching and scholarship excellence in Marketing.
Committed to the success and development of Newcastle University Business School you will be good citizens that are willing to contribute to positions of responsibility within the group and the School. You will join our newly-formed, dynamic and vibrant Marketing Subject Group of nearly 30 faculty colleagues, including seven renowned professors, and within a Business School that is committed to collegiality and academic citizenship. The posts are open to colleagues with different marketing specialisms, but we are particularly interested in new faculty with foci in Marketing Analytics and Digital Marketing. You must be present on campus for the role.
Informal enquiries about this position can be made to Professor Stuart Barnes at stuart.barnes@newcastle.ac.uk.
