This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Contracts Manager in our Building Compliance team, who will be leading a professional compliance team and specialist subcontractors in reactive, pre-planned maintenance, (PPM) to all aspects of the diverse University portfolio. Do you have experience of effectively working with and managing maintenance contracts? Are you able to influence and negotiate to ensure maintenance activities meet high quality standards of delivery? Would you like to contribute to ensuring the University of Leeds Estate is world class?
You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical leadership of a small team of trade staff, acting as a key customer contact for a large diverse portfolio of the University’s buildings. You will also be responsible for the management of specialist contractors. You will lead, manage in coordinate the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works, delivering compliance and ensuring that the highest standards of quality are met.
You will be experienced in working with and through others to achieve high quality standards of maintenance within a large or complex environment. You will have the ability to work pragmatically to ensure that planned and reactive maintenance activities are delivered on time, cost and quality.
