We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Research Impact Officer to support the delivery and communication of research impact across two interdisciplinary fellowship projects, funded by UKRI.
You will play a central role in enhancing the visibility and societal reach of research activities through effective stakeholder engagement. You will work with two research projects in depth, working at 60% FTE for Dr. Stefania Soldini in the subject area of space engineering (www.liverpool.ac.uk/research/space-engineering) and at 40% FTE for Dr. Jenny Hodgson in the subject area of Biodiversity Conservation (www.liverpool.ac.uk/people/jenny-hodgson; www.condatis.org.uk).
Firstly, you will facilitate an industry-academia network interested in space robotics with the Zero-G AstroLab.
Additionally, you will help the Condatis project: Condatis is planning software, helping to find the best places to re-create habitat, so that biodiversity can recover, despite climate change.
In this role, you will formulate engaging content for websites, social media, and other outlets, and will coordinate stakeholder workshops and meetings.
You will also use a variety of methods to monitor and report on engagement and impact. Through assisting in funding proposals, you will gain the opportunity to practice new, valuable skills.
You will work in a stimulating environment, enhancing your professional network, and with many on-demand and bespoke training opportunities.
You will be based in the School of Engineering, Dept. Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (Faculty of Science and Engineering www.liverpool.ac.uk/science-and-engineering/about-us).
The post is fixed term and is available for 9 months, with a preferable start in September 2025.
