As Depute Principal you help ensure that UHI Perth is consistently delivering an outstanding student experience and ensuring the
best possible outcomes for our learners. You will have overall strategic responsibility and provide effective leadership of the Curriculum, International Centre, Human Resources & Organisational Development, Business Engagement, Marketing & Communications functions and the Academy of Sport & Wellbeing.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be key to helping deliver the college’s financial recovery plan through maximising the efficiency and driving growth of the curriculum and commercial activity. You will understand the challenges and opportunities of the education sector in Scotland and ensure the college is delivering the highest quality learning experience to our students.
You will play a leading role in delivering
the colleges financial recovery plan, using your significant experience of change
and transformation to improve long term institutional sustainability. As part of this change, the Depute Principal will work with colleagues to promote greater collaborative working across the college and the within the UHI partnership to seek opportunities for greater alignment and generate efficiencies to benefit the student experience.
As Depute Principal you will be a member of the senior leadership team and will be expected to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders such as the Regional Strategic Body, other UHI partners, SQA, QAA, Perth & Kinross Council and other public, private and third sector partners. You will use your highly developed influencing and negotiating skills to represent UHI Perth’s interests and achieve the best solutions for the college as we seek greater partnership opportunities.
