About the Role
The purpose of this role will be to work with the study team and schools to arrange and deliver accurate assessments of participating children’s health, to manage data entry and carry out basic data management. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate databases and supporting communication with study partners.
About You
The individual will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team and will have experience in quantitative research, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively to a wide range of stakeholders. Experience with conducting studies with data collection involving children or adolescents or working with schools would also be beneficial but is not essential.
About the Project
CHILL was originally a five-year study funded by NIHR Public Health Research. We are currently in receipt of a grant from Barts Charity to extend the study for another year of health assessments in the same cohort of participating children. CHILL is a parallel cohort study comparing impacts of air pollution on school children in London and Luton. Children are assessed annually at school visits, where they undergo health assessments including lung function, which will be linked to air quality exposures over the study timecourse.
