About us:
The Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC) is an independent, scientific, not-for-profit organisation (circa 60 staff), that uses accurate data to help improve the quality of critical care through audit, research and education, conducted with, and in the interests of, patients and those who care for them.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and independent Clinical Trials Unit (UKCRC fully registered) and help to deliver our adult and paediatric critical care research studies.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of ICNARC CTU by acting as the first point-of-contact for general queries and helping to maintain internal databases and systems. They will also assist with a range of tasks including data entry, patient follow-up and communications with hospital research staff to ensure delivery of trials being coordinated by the CTU.
What you will need to succeed
Applicants must have previous office administration experience (this can include temporary or voluntary work).
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, team working and organisational skills together with a high level of attention to detail. The ability to relate to and communicate clearly, sensitively and effectively with people from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds is essential.
