You will work as a Postdoctoral Researcher on the ESRC Impact Accelerator Account funded project MUSIC.ME under the supervision of Dr Eduardo Coutinho (PI) and Professor Atif Rahman (Co-I).
MUSIC.ME is a web app that offers a suite of tools for personalized mood regulation with for the prevention and treatment of anxiety and depression. This project aims to enable and maximize the impact of MUSIC.ME for young people (YP) by employing principles of personalized health and co-creation and evaluating it in a real-world setting. We will work with YP and key stakeholders to (i) optimise MUSIC.ME for YP, (ii) generating key evidence in support of MUSIC.ME as a lifestyle intervention for anxiety and depression, (iii) promoting the intervention uptake amongst YP and mental health service providers and (iv) enabling future commercialization.
This post is part time and fixed term from 1 September 2025 until 30 June 2026.
This will be achieved through stakeholder engagement, rigorous evaluation, and strategic dissemination, ultimately aiming for widespread adoption and commercial success.
If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
