Background

The Broadcast & Media Systems Team, operates within the IT Specialist Services group, providing learning and technical support for the Radio, Digital and TV Broadcast hardware and the media production & post-production computing environments available to the Journalism and MCCI departments for teaching, learning and research.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Video and Audio media production kits,( A/V kit ) , that are issued to the MCCI and Journalism Undergraduate / MA students and Academic staff.
• Administers the A/V kit loan database system – Stock In – Stock Out ( Si-So)
• Battery charging the various different types of Li-Ion batteries, so that all A/V kits are available for day-to-day operational use.
