Working pattern primarily: Monday to Friday 09.30–17.30pm = 35 hours weekly (1.0 FTE)
The LSE is seeking to employ a Building Manager. The post holder will be an integral member of the Facilities Management Team within a multifaceted Estates Division.
The post holder will play a key role in the effectiveness of assigned buildings ensuring satisfaction of the Estates provision to staff, students and visitors to the LSE Campuses.
The role undertakes checks, walkarounds and auditing on behalf of the estates division and reports back and escalates issues to the relevant department head to action alongside utilising the estates helpdesk ‘Planon’ in the day-to-day duties.
Acting as a go between on routine and day to day issues between service users and the Estates Division you will facilitate the day-to-day operation of the building alongside Room Bookings, Reception and Security.
This is a reporting and facilitating role with some manual handling tasks or other-directed operational maintenance tasks from time to time as directed.
A uniform is required in this role and will be provided to be worn at all times. Flexibility is essential as the post holder will be expected to work shifts including at weekends and occasional evening shifts.
