The post holder will be responsible for supporting laboratory activities as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor. The role will focus on delivering technical, engineering and manufacturing assistance and expertise to undergraduate and research projects within the department.

The opportunity
We are currently seeking to employ a technician who will be responsible for supporting laboratory activities as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor. You will be competent in the operation of all standard workshop machinery to a high level of accuracy and be able to interpret engineering drawings. We would love to hear from you if you are educated to a minimum of HNC level (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline, in addition to having significant, relevant work experience in a similar role.
