We are seeking a highly proactive Consultancy Manager to join our Innovation & Impact team.
About the role
The Innovation & Impact team form part of the Research, Innovation, and Impact (RII) division which supports the research, innovation, and impact activity across the University. The Consultancy Manager will report to the Head of Innovation and Impact, and will be tasked with managing and administering the successful delivery of our recently refreshed Consultancy programme. They will be the first point of contact in the University for matters relating to consultancy, ensuring the provision of a high-quality service from set-up to delivery and completion, to academic and professional services colleagues and to our external partners.
About you
We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with researchers, professional services colleagues and external partners, and provide support, advice and guidance. You will be experienced in working with businesses to understand their needs and ensure projects are well scoped. You will also be experienced in project management, project costing and price negotiation, and provision of contractual support. We are looking for someone able to support relationship management and identification of further collaboration opportunities.
The role is for 12 months fixed term with a view to extension.
