This is an exciting opportunity to join the Marketing & Campaigns teams within External Relations, and bring new ideas and experience to the fore. This role supports Marketing & Engagement Business Partners to deliver marketing support and activities for designated academic Schools/Departments. The School Marketing Officer will play a key role in maintaining high standards in the recruitment of both undergraduate and postgraduate students through traditional and digital media activities and ensuring alignment of activity within the institutional brand strategy and proposition.

You will have:

  • A good Honours degree or relevant professional qualification, eg, CIM qualification, or relevant marketing experience.
  • Experience of implementing marketing strategies and effective communication plans to meet customers’ needs, including experience of utilising traditional and digital channels.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language and grammar.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships; diplomacy and the confidence to challenge opinions appropriately.
  • Experience in working in HE or a complex environment.
