You will work as part of Professor Sadaf Farooqi's team who are internationally recognised as being at the forefront of research in obesity and metabolic disease.
With recent funding from a Wellcome Discovery Research Platform, we are establishing a new initiative to recruit people with metabolic disease from the community across East Anglia using a Mobile Phenotyping Unit (a customised vehicle). Successful applicants will be responsible for the recruitment of a Metabolic Bioresource of individuals who can be called up for experimental medicine studies and clinical trials, for example, involving new Obesity Medications.
