An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to join the Department of Nutrition and Preventive Medicine at the Norwich Medical School to conduct a dietary intervention study (based in the NHS Clinical Research Facility).
The current post is associated with a recent grant awarded by the Givaudan (France) for a project investigating the acute benefits of American Ginseng on mood and cognition in healthy young adults. As a Research Associate you will contribute to the research programme, help analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes.
You will have a graduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience and be able to work in a proactive and results driven manner in a high paced environment. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to analyse and interpret data and work effectively as part of a team. Advanced skills directly relating to this research area and previous research experience would be advantageous.
This post is available from 1 October 2025 (and ideally no later than 13 October 2025) on a part-time (0.5 FTE) basis for a fixed term period to 2 February 2027. This post will be based at the Quadram Institute, Rosalind Franklin Road, Norwich Research Park, Norwich, NR4 7UQ.
