Join Our Advanced Clinical Practice Team – Shape the Future of Advanced Clinical Practice Education.
Are you a passionate and experienced advanced practitioner? We are inviting you to bring your specialist expertise to our vibrant Advanced Clinical Practice team within the School of Education, Sport and Health Sciences.
We are looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with up-to-date, specialist knowledge in independent prescribing, physical assessment and advanced practice backed by experience as a senior clinical practitioner. If you are ready to share your insights and inspire others, we want to hear from you. In this pivotal role, you will teach and mentor students enrolled in our MSc Advanced Clinical Practice programmes. You will be at the heart of a dynamic, forward-thinking team committed to delivering exceptional education across our post-registration pathways.
Our curriculum is designed to empower practitioners to evolve their roles and innovate within their fields. We pride ourselves on a collaborative philosophy—working closely with students, academics, researchers, service users, and healthcare partners to deliver high-impact learning grounded in the latest research and clinical practice. To be successful in this role you should have:
An active research portfolio and publication record is desirable, but by no means essential for the right applicant. For full details of this role, please see the attached job description and person specification.
This is more than a teaching opportunity—it is a chance to influence the next generation of advanced clinical practitioners and you will play a key role in shaping curriculum, driving innovation, and fostering excellence in clinical education.
Informal enquiries can be made to Oli Davies O.Davies@brighton.ac.uk
This post is offered on a 1.0 full-time-equivalent, however we welcome applications from people seeking to job share, and permanent contract, and is based at our Brighton Falmer campus.
